It's the wife's 40th soon and I have decided to buy her a watch. I noted there have been quite a few watch discussions on here so I'm asking the watch fans for their tips on where to buy.

What sort of thing are you after? Budget? There are plenty of good sources on the web, but it all depends on the answers to the questions really.

btw, I'm sure you're about to be bombarded by people telling you that you're mad to spend more than a fiver......

Need more info,where do you live,budget,do you want to see it in the flesh or are you happy to buy online,new or old etc.

That sort of budget opens up all sorts of options.

I've always been quite a fan of Oris, and these are at that sort of price. Sinn's are also well regarded.

Have a look at www.chronomaster.co.uk. Lots of choice on there.
