While the market for decent cold/wet weather clothes seems to have improved, it's still hard to get good boots/socks for little ones that aren't covered in branded tat.

Does anyone know who makes proper kids socks for cold weather? They must do them in colder countries! The usual kids clothing stores just have crummy thin ones.

Found some Timberland boots for our little one last Winter - fur lined but leather outsides - but they are getting too small and can't find anythying similar either.

Am I being retarded again?!

if they wear thick socks they need bigger shoes and that made thick sock expensive - you can get them but forget where will be some expensive hippy fair trade stuff
