Are the double skinned decathlon tents any good for British "summer" camping.
Had a look at a few today. Had written them off prev but having had a good look at a few today they don't seem too bad for the price.
Can't comment on how they'd handle a downpour tho, sorry.
Looking at the reviews they don't seem too bad.

Cheers but doesn't meet the £60 budget.
Decathlon pop-up tents are great - such a synch to erect, and not too hard to put away. I've had mine for 4 years. No probs with the weather. It'll be getting its WOMAD outing in 10 days time.
We bought a 2 Second tent about 6 years ago. It's great. It's survived heavy rain and strong winds much better than other tents who's owners had been very disparaging about it. If you get the matching dining area they fit together to give a nice unit.
I've got one (i think it's 4 XL or something...you can stand up in it!) and its fine. Used it in wet conditions and stayed totally dry and that was in torrential rain. No problems at all. Easy to erect too. Just practice folding it up at home first before you go on your trip. The first time I used mine and went to pack it up I think the other campers were watching hoping i'd make a fool of myself and not be able to do it....thankfully i'd practiced (and got the decathlon man to show me!) and it was down in minutes.
I watched collapse and roll across a field in snowdon last year (I was up a mountain, I'm not totally rotten and just left it) before someone in the field weighed it down with rocks.
Brilliant for car camping and more than up to a british downpour.
Useless for taking anywhere because it folds down to a big disc.
Their tents seem fine for the money, though don't expect it to last 10 years (or 5). I've a 3 man one (Dome type not fold-able) and it been fine for the last couple of British summers.
Practise folding it! Mate has a 6 man unit, that he's bought back twice unfolded (luckily he has a transit), and I'm dispatched to find the video instructions.
