Fab thing - sat in the cockpit once: I was asked to make SURE that I didn't pull the ejector handle is it WAS armed (and that was in the hangar!)

I think this aircraft was / is the personal aircraft of Geoffrey de Havilland?

Glad the pilot's ok!

Looks like nose-wheel failure, should be fixable, provided the airframe isn't too badly messed up. Tough aircraft, built for carrier landings, so they have to be! Lovely plane, hope she's back in the air soon.
My favourite British jet fighter is now finished and flying, a Gloster Meteor T5 based at Cotswold Airport, Kemble. The oldest British jet flying.
