I rarely get excited about movies anymore, but I have to admit that the new Batman film has got me all giddy like an over excited 10 year old.

Whether it's the marketing campaign, the fact that the Dark Knight was brilliant, Chris Nolan is brilliant or the whole Batman saga and history is brilliant or whether I'm basically just a child I don't know but whichever I really can't wait for next Friday.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

Yes, but I have a fear it will go all Prometheus.

I hope not. Prometheus left me cold.

Yes, very much looking forward to it. Have to persuade the missus she wants to watch it though as no doubt there'll be some crappy rom-com on another screen.

mrsconsequence told me she wants to watch it at the cinema with me, but understands if i want to go without her so i dont need to wait until we're both free and risk spoilers on facebook, twitter etc 🙂

she even bought me cinema vouchers last year in preparation for it!

Is the spoiler that Bruce Wayne/Batman doesn't exist and exists only as the alter ego of Alfred, a man whose lonely, powerless and tedious existence as the personal servant of overprivileged gluttons has caused him to live in a delusional state?

I have a theory about what happens as they've drawn inspiration from some story arcs from the comics in the past 2 films.

I am however avoiding all spoilers until I see it, but I did get quite excited when the trailer came on during Batman Begins tonight..

Looking forward to the movie as well. My OH even bought tickets for a premier screening at midnight. It's still 2 weeks before (premier in Warsaw is on the 27th) and most of the seats were already booked.

Now let's hope the movie delivers, as the trailer was really good.

Really looking forward to it. I enjoyed Nolan's previous two films, and I don't think he's the sort of director to screw it up on the final film. But then, I enjoyed Promethious, so I'm easily pleased.

Great article interviewing the people involved in making the movie... armourers, lighting, set design, cinematography, etc...

Spoiler free, if you've watched the trailers and are aware of vehicles involved, what the baddy looks like, etc.
