I need to get a damp survey done for a remortgage
Now I'm slightly wary of businesses in the "damp" industry as I've heard a few horror stories
Is there a way of discerning the reputable from the rest? Any recommendations South Manchester?

Simple; Don't use anyone who has something to sell. Get an independent survey done.

Get a mortgage from a company without such stupid stipulations......
( remortgaged last week without jumping through hoops like this- let me guess is it hsbc ? )
