Straight away or should I wait a year which is what most books seem to suggest?

I've moved them about after they've be mown over and left to rot down a little bit leaving just the bulb. Don't see any problem with replanting providing they're left upright.

Deadlydarcy - is that true or are you on the wind up?! Mine have never changed

Deadlydarcy never ever winds people up, he only speaks what they hope to hear.
