Do you still put "hobbies / interests" on CVs? I heard it wasn't the done thing these days?

Rather depends on the job. Where it's a job in which your character, personality etc is important, there's no harm. (Unless you have really dull hobbies and interests!)

For a job where there's no life required (I'm thinking accountancy :wink:) then no, leave them off.

but whatever you do unless its a job in the bike industry dont write mountain biking - cause the HR people will start to add up how many days you may be potentially taking off through injuries
