Looking at the 1.6 zetec s or 1.4tsi in 5dr hatch form.
Anyone got real world experience of fitting a bike and/or bike bag in either?
Leon will be the same floorpan as my golf which takes my 26" full sus with the front wheel out.
My old focus was the same.
You will easily get a bike with one wheel off in the back of the new focus with the seats down. However the boot is tiny, much smaller than the new golf and loads smaller than my old 07 focus.
I was looking at a new focus hatch but the boot is way too small for family duty's. The estate with the engine/spec I wanted was an stupid price.
Assuming new shape Leon, I can get a bike in the boot seats down front wheel off comfortably.
Do you think a frame in a bike bike could slide in the floorpan of the boot?
If you have dimensions of bag I can measure against the spare foam boot liner the dealer supplied I have and let you know.
