Very much so. That was a superb game!

Couldnt agree more and there are people who cant understand how a game that takes five days to produce a draw can be exciting.
another bloody bore draw ๐
Hopefully that'll silence Bell's doubters further, and as someone posted on the Beeb text commentary:
SupercollywasfantasticKPwasatrocious.
Would you pick Pietersen for the next test?
Drop him and put Onions up the order
Good work Onions! Couldn't help shouting at the TV "That's shallot!" when he survied that last ball. We seem to be getting rather good at hanging on my our finger tips to draw games. What's the betting that we'll now go on to win the series by drawing the last match.
I'm really torn with Pietersen. He hadn't been half the batsman he used to be. I'd probably be tempted to keep him for the last game but I think the team is pretty well balanced at the mo. But sooner or later he's going to face the chop.
you can't leave him out. Form is temporary, class is permanent. And he strikes me as the kind of player that knows he's good so a dip in form won't worry him (cf: Ramprakash)
Basically when you're as good as he is, you know that the run of bad form won't continue forever and therefore every subsequent 'failure' means that the next big score is even closer. Psychology, innit.
But he keeps getting himself out playing silly shots and then saying, its the way I play. Nobody else would get away with that attitude. For somebody of his ability to get out in the 90's for example is to give a below par performance, he should be getting more big scores. I'd give him the next test to perform and then give somebody else a go if he fails again. dropping him may persaude him to change the way he plays.
Pietersen has immense talent but he really lacks application/discipline. Fuse him with Boycott - and you would have a truly great batsman - the arrogance would be off the scale mind.
