sometime i feel they are takin the p' just sat down to input payment date
"Payment to reach yr account by 03 May"
thats a f'ing Sunday and the following day a Bank Holiday
i nearly put in 1st May as a transfer date without thinking but that probably won't credit in time
dishonest practise i reckon?

Yep, they do indeed. And they move the payment date so you can't set up a standing order for payday.
Had a frustrating phonecall with some bod in Bangalore yesterday who couldn't explain why a payment over the telephone would take 3 days wehereas one over the internet 5 days to process.
