I've a chance a two separate jobs and obviously need to prove i'm safe for working with kids.
first job is as an LSA in a secondry school working with all kids from 11-16
second job is as an activity trainer working with kids off site on an outdoors centre with kids of the same age as above...
As i CBA in looking it all up, do i need a standard or enhanced disclosure...?

Both places will be set up to do your application as soon as you get an offer, which will usually be subject to satisfactory checks. You can't apply for the enhanced CRB yourself, it has to be the employer/umbrella organisation. Good luck. You will need to take two forms of ID, one with photo for them to get cracking.
Don't do anything until you've accepted either job; if it's anything like the Scottish Disclosure system your new employer will pay for it - and want a fresh check done before you start the job. I've only been in teaching for three years but have had four or five done!
They're also a lot quicker at processing these days. In the past you could wait months for the results to come through - probably looking at a couple of weeks max now.
Although I guess it depends on how much history there is to check! :p

at least 3 forms of ID. I only know because I have processed 10 enhanced disclosures this afternoon.

As others have said your prospective employers have to "apply " for the crb check wether you pay or they pay depends on wether you'll be employed or self employed ( I had to pay for the pleasure my self ) Despite what some people think there's no automatic rejection, its up to your employers to decide wether any negative results are applicable to the position your seeking.
