My unmarked, relatively new Fox forks took a beating during transportation on a mates bike rack recently. This has left a 50 pence piece rub mark on the left lower which is down to the bare metal.

Does anyone have any advice (as I'm sure I'm not the first this has happened to) how to repair the damage and return them to their former glory?

Maybe steps to take? Will it need a primer, wet and dry paper, where to source the Fox 'white' paint, etc, etc.

Cheers

Clean up the surface and put some car touch up paint on it.

No hora, I can't I didn't put anything towards the fuel bill 🙂

Is that all that's needed Loco? Is there a particular car 'white' that matches the Fox fork 'white'?

Yep that's the best thing to do, depends on year of the fork white, how much it's faded and the colour can vary from batch to batch of 'fork sprays' so best to got to the car shop with them as reference.
