Anyone got a recommendation? Ideally north east leeds. House sale and purchase (hopefully!) nothing fancy or unusual.
Past experiences have been grim so trying to find one that's competent, responsive and ideally has some sort of portal for uploading documents/monitoring progress

Well not exactly Leeds but we used Dickinson Wood in Doncaster. A few of my family have used them and we used them remotely for our house purchase in Sheffield / chesterfield.
They seemed reasonably priced, relatively efficient but sometimes needed poking with a stick as all of them do.

We used Advantage Property Lawyers in the center of Leeds. They were fine (slow like everyone else but no other issues) and had documentation all online.
