I'm cleaning and re-levelling some garden edging. Do I leave a specified gap between them and the adjacent pavers or do I try and get them as close to the pavers as possible?

I'm thinking a gap of 10 or 20 mm which I'll fill in with sand then jointing compound.

Thanks

I’d say flush as you can. The edger is to stop the pavers moving.

Thanks. Your project looks very professional!
Mine are more paving slabs but I guess it still makes sense to get flush. Thanks.
