Looking for a new washing machine and my wife would like a washer/dryer.
Are they still as compromised as ever or does anybody rate them?
I've always had them so don't know what the compromise is 🙂
The compromise is that you can't run a load of drying at the same time as washing another load (we always find that useful on holiday when the holiday homes have separates).
Modern washer driers have pretty big drums (just got a new one and it washes 7kg and dries 5kg which isn't far off the capacity of separates).
Bloody expensive though.
Always had them to (two in the last 15 years), only issue I have is the fluff that collects after drying can be a pain as it gets deposited on the next lot of washing (collects in the drum and around the door). In reality just means cleaning it out with damp kitchen paper once in a while but annoying if you forget and your freshly washed shirts have fluff all over them :p
