I have around 300GB worth of data and I am now looking for off site storage.

Having looked at lots of options/services. Which would you suggest?

(or avoid).

Stick it all on a HDD, post it to me and I'll look after it for you for £9.99 a year. Best price guaranteed.

^^^^ That.

If it is sensitive data then are they encrypted backups?

Amazon cloud services are pretty good but you will need something that can upload to them encrypted.

Might be worth checking out bandwidth/data transfer limits at both ends (their end and yours).

Mostly photographs & html files etc

Other data is encrypted, even then its not all that sensitive.

Unlimited BB my end.

Upload speeds as opposed to download speeds are often wildly different.

Best end to end encryption is with Wuala (the cloud storage arm of Swiss storage makers Lacie). If you lose your password they can't recover it (which means they can't access your data on anyones behalf). Their app is brilliant and when running appears as a drive. Works a lot better than dropbox. I also use Spideroak, similarly strong end to end encryption. Both have great sync and share functionality and are fairly customisable.

Avoid amazon, they had a huge downtime last year and dropped 00's of sites data, when they tried to get some comeback amazon pointed to the t&c's saying they offered no guarantees.

Tried wuala didn't really get on with it, dropbox is good, box is basically a clone but cheaper. If you are technically minded you can roll your own really very easily, get an unlimited LAMP hosting package ~£10 a month install ajaxplorer and voila you have your own cloud storage service.
