for me on an evening there is nothing better than settling down with a glass of wine in my hand and putting some Frederic Chopin simply lovely..

Gustav Mahler tends to fulfill the criteria when I'm in the mood for classical.
I'm also liking a lot of the Eric Whitacre choral stuff at the mo.

Haydn for me. A much overlooked composer which is surprising given the sheer volume of work he produced.
