Going to try and book a 3 day city break for the wife and myself. I've been to Paris before and liked It but also had a friend mention he thought Istanbul was amazing. I'd imagine Istanbul is pretty amazing for things to see and do. Your views are appreciated.

Istanbul is great, worked there for a few weeks, and what I saw of it in the evenings I liked. Great feeling of being somewhere truly different too.

Istanbul certainly doesn't feel as European as many other cities. However if you haven't been before, Rome.
Paris is better later in the year
