After making a really nice beef stew at the weekend I thought I’d try something more suited to the weather. Found an NYT Cooking recipe for oven roast chicken shawarma and with tabbouleh it was perfect. Other than straight salads what is everyone cooking in this weather? Other than BBQ obvs.
Surely the answer here is wood fired pizza (or gas for the cheats!)
Mate in Weymouth has one and the pizza is pretty fine.
A veggie chilli of course.
Similar vein... Grilled halloumi, Zoug, babba ganoush, Greek salad. Cold Retsina for authenticity.
Panzanella is good. Or avocado toast with toasted seeds (on homemade sourdough obvs).
Greggs to this... STW is SO funny at times 😂
Toasted bread with Avocado, Halloumi and poached egg
Working my way through the 'Posh kebabs' book. Some great recipes in there and perfect for this weather. Got the WFO tonight though for pizzas.

All very well for you to laugh but our local Greggs isn't reopening for a while.
