We will be in touch
Have been using a Macbook pro at various times and think I would like to replace my knackered Dell with one of the above.
Does anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy? Best option I can think of is at the airport but not planning any trips soon....
Yeah Airport best bet (I did it with no issues) or befriend one of these protesting students and offer them £20 to get a student discount.
Keep an eye on the Apple site on Friday. There MAY be some discounts.

Or look in the refurb store on the same site.

Befriend a stoodent.
or check apple refurb store
Costco have them for £890 inc VAT, amazon are similar or student discount at £850 for a MB pro 13.
It's not really a good time to buy a MBP, they're due to update it soon. The Macbook Air has just been updated though, so that's a good buy...
Or work for NHS and register on the NHSDiscounts site.
Dixonstravel @ the airports, i work there and can get you one if you like (DHL Direct delivery) Sssshhh.....
The student discount is very good - you can get very cheap 3 year applecare as a student (or teacher/college worker I think) as well.
Go for a weekend in an american city with an apple store and buy one there? Remember to unpack it before coming back to avoid paying the tax on it!
