Ben Nevis Triathlon...

Also check out the X Terra stuff, and then what's that super grim one involving military style punishment?

EDIT: Ah yes.. Tough Guy http://www.toughguy.co.uk/

Marathon De Sables. If you can get a place on it, that should really push you.

Failing that, have you considered something like the Alcatraz Ironman? Three sports in one and a lovely location to do them all in.

3 Peaks Yacht Race (Sail, Run and short Bike, full for this year though I think)

that lot will keep you going for a while

I've done a fair few of these and have got a few on this year
or know people that have a lot of them

search SleepMonsters for the foreign ones they list/cover most of 'em

Endurance Life are putting on the first off road Iron Man* in 2012.

Also look at the Norseman Tri, which is aparantly the hardest Iron Man race.

* it's Iron Man distance but not an actual Iron Man event.

I attempted the English Channel last year as a solo swim, having a go at the Devices to Westminster canoe race next year. 125 miles nonstop paddling runs over Easter weekend. Should take about 20 hours to complete.

Devises (sp?) Westminster is a famous route in canoeing circles. You'll need to find a partner to do the one day race thoug.

There's one on the Yukon as well but that's harder to get to on a weekend.

When we were in BC there were some people racing down the coast of Canada in seakayaks.

There's the Green river race which is only short but challenging!
