[Closed] cellar pump advice

I have a tanked cellar with my kitchen in it. The sink and washing machine are attached to a waste pump to do the uphill drainage. This morning the pump is just making a droning noise (usually quiet unless pumping). Ran some water and it did not spring into life, and the water did not drain. I have unplugged it to shut it up. Has anyone experence of these pumps? Is it possible it has just frozen and will sort itself out? Drain pipe from bath has frozen and bath upstairs will not drain either! I love cold weather!
