We have around £7-8k to spend and want something that we can put three child seats in the back of - kids ages, 4, 2 and newborn. What is there?
VW touran
Vauxhall Zafira
VW Sharan
Ford Galaxy
Seat Alhambra
Renault scenic
Fiat Multipla.
Thanks Stanfree.
Honda FRV.
I can just fit three in my 406 estate. Its a squeeze but its doable.
Zafira's are very good, plus you've extra seats for babysitters/grandparents.
+1 for the FRV. Just handed ours back to the lease company after 3 years.
Very wide car, but the same length as a Golf.
almost every 4/5 door car will fit a baby seat, toddler seat and booster chair across the rear seats.
it's not the car, it's getting the right seats.
I need 4 boosters, 2 toddler and 1 baby seat in my car monday to friday but occasionally I've used other cars ranging from small compact hatches to saloons/estates and I've always managed to get 4 child seats in at a time in almost all configurations (keeping the extra seats in the boot and switching them about depending on occupants).
Multipla would be a good solution. Let me know if you want a look at mine.
size wise add Freelander and S-Max - price might be a problem
possibly current Mondeo
Got a touran here and can do what you need.
Our Golf mk v did and our current mk vi
Sharan here and looking to replace in next few weeks. Got 3 kids and VW is ace at packing everythng in. Proper seats and belts. Rack for box and bikes and tow bar for bike rack. Fab vehicle!

+1
We could only just squeeze two seats and an adult in the back of our cars, but I think 3 seats is easier.
Laguna estate, my mate has his three kids in his, good NCAP rating for the age of car as well.
