One great goal, one good one and a fight. Interesting so far..?
Well I thought they were two of the best goals the competition has seen so far - shows the complainers about the ball that it can be hit from distance with accuracy.
Nope not good so far. Not much gaol mouth action. Some fairly average football but it seems to me strangely lacking in any passion at the moment. An early second half goal is needed to perk things up.
Flat crowd.
That was some boot to the face the Dutch guy took.
Holland are my second team at all world cups as I roll out my 1/4 dutch ancestry.
I wish I were dutch. Holland is nice, dutch people are nice, dutch beer is pretty good too. Great cycling culture. AND WORLD CUP 2010 WINNERS!!!! You heard it here first!
Goal of the tournament pretty much wrapped up. . . . .that gentleman is how to strike a ball. ๐
If you were dutch you'd have naff all mtbing to do, and the netherlands is very crowded.
Great strike.. then later a controversial goal. Looks level.
I think Uruguay are going to struggle to gain any sympathy (even if he was offside...which was questionable anyway).
cracking 3rd too
Cracking header that...that's sooo difficult to do in reality.
that's not beer it's fizzy dishwater! grow some tastebuds dude!
Hey i'm a dude, cool. Belgium's not too far away for some 'proper' beer...where in Holland is crowded? compared to where?
I do hope Holland win the tournament, I'll be there a week after the final doing a few days of road touring.
Nice goals btw.
where in Holland is crowded? compared to where?
Looks pretty built-up on the map!
Crap - I really don't want the Dutch to win - they simply don't do modesty.
That said, a Germany - Holland final, with Germany beating them like a ginger step-child would be rather fun ( as long as you are not German/German looking/sounding/in the wrong place at the wrong time ).
Great last few minutes
All the neighbours are honking their vulva-zelas.

I'm only interested in football for the stats - AFAIK this World Cup will now have a unique place in history (apart from being the first to be staged in Africa - it's something arguably more fundamental than that). Anybody know what?
Forlan only player ever to score 3 goals from outside box over WC finals?
First European team to win outside Europe
