managed to get into uni and now i need to find the funds for it. As a Scottish student i have to pay my fees for all 4 years of the graduate course (about 3100/3200 a year) as well as cover my living costs etc. I spoke to my bank, RBS, at the start of the year and they said it would be fine to set up a loan for that course and they would send me more info.

However they haven't and as i stay in madrid i cant just pop in. Ill call them this week but that wont be before wednesday because of time differences and just wondering about others' experiences and advice.

where are you going to Uni? If Scotland, have you looked at SAAS?

nope down sarf, there are no grad courses in scotland and therefore SAAS (after a million calls finding someone who knows what grad medicine is) don't offer specific funding, they can give me a loan with a wadge of interest though...

its actually a professional studies loan im after and 3 banks as far as i know offer it. sites ive looked at so far portray v dif experiences of each bank so wanted to know if anyone on here recommended one.
