Just another thought, if it’s all the rear windows could you just get the windows tinted with film?
I have wind deflectors on the front windows of the Citan, the two side rear windows are tinted, leave front windows cracked open by about 40mm, sorted.
I got mine tinted instead, looks pretty neat imo.
Our previous model Berlingo has built in roller shades in the rear passenger windows. Does the new one not have them?
Shades definitely better than tiny for heat reduction in my experience- our Berlingo has both but it was noticeably hotter when I just had tints on the boot glass/rear side glass.
I just use ‘universal’ type sucker mount ones from Amazon.
Not all tint is equal. Some is solar reflective some is just back tint. Some of the clearer tint reflects more heat than the dark tint. (Buy cheap = buy twice)

Just looked and it's charged for fitting too. £207. Instead of £120 for just the blinds. I'm not paying over £80 for the dealer to fit blinds for me.
When I used to camp in mine my old Berlingo I just a couple of cheap decathlon foam sleeping mats. They had a kind of silver one side which I faced out to the glass.
I made some templates and carefully cut round them. I actually cut them so they fitted in the groove round the window which meant I didn't need to use any suckers, they were just held securely with a friction fit.
Total cost about £20 and worked very well. Only slight pain was storing the bits of mat when not in use but used to just lay them flat in the boot.
I've got my old one tinted, just cheap eBay stuff for £10/roll.
It does make a massive difference to the heat in the car, even without the reflective layer it's absorbing 90% of the visible light (and presumably similar amounts of the the IR) and a lotnof that must be rejected outside the glass.
Surely internal blinds would be 2nd best as they absorb the light then have nowhere to reject the heat?
If you look at tints it’s worth paying someone to fit it unless you have a lot of patience and don’t mind it being perfect. In my youth I had many goes and it and it was ok but never perfect. I’m having the rear windows of my estate done soon and I think supply / fit for 5 windows is about £160-£180.

Are they reasonably tough? I need to get window covering on our roomster and it may have bikes leant against it so interested in their robustness.
I make snd fit graphics for vehicles, I get someone in for tinting. A specialist fitter will do a good job in less time and if it isn’t (see the invisiframe tread).

Mine was easy, but that's on the original berlingo. On non opening windows with trim arroudn them I've no idea what the technique is.

Not sure they'd take that. The issue is less how tough they are and more snagging. They’re like a mesh material, and I think bars etc would catch and tear it.

Tints can also get nicked and scratched by bar ends tho
I tried tinting myself. It was a disaster. A guy in a railway arch in SE London did them in about 20 minutes for 90 quid iirc
Life was much easier with a van 🙂
Tried adding tints to a 1 series last week. It's a horrendous thing to do. Pay someone else to do it. It will also look loads better.
