Anyone got any good recommendations for water/dirt proof car seat covers for those days when you just want to get off the trails and into the car without changing? It's for a V70, by the way.

Not too keen on spending an absolute fortune, but equally don't want any tat!

Thanks in advance, all!

I bought some from Tesco, two front seat covers for just under £5, I thought the quality was good.

I think I paid about £10 for one from Halfords for when I come back from kitesurfing and refuse to get out of my warm wetsuit.

Do you have side airbags in the seats? I don't think you should use seat covers, if you do.....

Not sure if you can get special 'side airbag safe' seat covers......?

Thats an interesting point stumpy - I'd never considered that they put airbags in the seats themselves.

You can indeed get seat covers suitable for bagged seats

A V70 will have side airbags I'm guessing. But dunno if they're in the seats? The sides of the seats often say on them.

I've been looking into this, and as above, you do get suitable covers.

Good point re the airbags. Mine has more airbags than the Playboy Mansion, so I would imagine they are in the seats.
