We will be in touch
Ok, Im trying to sort a niggling problem with a 1998 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Club. The temp gauge doesnt work, the engine control and cooling warning lights are on and the radiator fans run constantly.
Basically its something to do with the temp sensor which lives in the inlet manifold. The stealership diagnostics pointed to it being the actual sensor, so it has been replaced with a new one (already put one in from a scrapper which didn't work). Fault still exists, so by my reckoning its to do with the wiring. Looking at the wiring closer, the connector has been soldered to the wires i.e. non original condition, so either the connector or wiring has been replaced at some point.
I need a wiring diagram to trace the wires, hopefully back to a cooling control module (CCM).
The web has drawn a blank, as has an Astra owners forum. Anyone else be able to help please?
Thank you Mr berry!
