I know some of you chaps have interest in these things - and for those who have never done a trip like this, can I suggest you do it one day, even as a total non-paddler....

I snapped a paddle on the Spey ๐Ÿ™ The bloke who was supposed to have the split paddle in his boat didn't. ๐Ÿ™

Still enjoyed it ๐Ÿ™‚

Ive paddled the spey a few times and it is a great paddle. While I agree it can be paddled by those with little experience, it can catch you out. I wont say dont do it, but think about a guide if you're not a paddler.

Not me but on the spey so you get the idea
