I know some of you chaps have interest in these things - and for those who have never done a trip like this, can I suggest you do it one day, even as a total non-paddler....

I'm a non paddler but I'm interested & know a guy (ex biker) who is. Nice little video.
I second that
After canoeing the great glen over 3 days a few weeks ago the Spey is on my to do list
Here's some pics from my trip - http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/great-glen-canoe-trail-1
I snapped a paddle on the Spey ๐ The bloke who was supposed to have the split paddle in his boat didn't. ๐
Still enjoyed it ๐
Ive paddled the spey a few times and it is a great paddle. While I agree it can be paddled by those with little experience, it can catch you out. I wont say dont do it, but think about a guide if you're not a paddler.
Not me but on the spey so you get the idea
