have been trying to get my 360 controller (wired) to work with the above game.unfortunately in the configuration (joypad button setting) it doesn't recognize either the analogue sticks/d pad buttons/triggers. any advice would be most welcome as to how to sort the problem,the keyboard/mouse option is too much for my head to remember/use (you can tell i'm a console gamer 😆 thanks in advance 🙂
p.s i have the latest driver for it (i think) xp 32 bit sp 2-3).

I tried doing this year's ago and found it was not possible. I ended up buying a piece of software which remaps the functions of the controller so GTA can work. I can't for the life if me remember the name of the software though! It was/is a common problem so I'm sure Google is your friend
