I'd advise against using them, there was an almighty fracas when users of the official Glastonbury Festivals website (since taken down) discovered that the moderators had ready access to everyones PM's, why do you need it? why not just use email?

I would automatically assume that any mods would have access to any PMs, it's their forum after all.

I'd also assume this to be the case with any email system or work based access to the site.

The internet was never designed be private in that way
