I'm starting a new job on Tuesday and need somewhere to stay in the Newbury/Aldermaston area.
I will be looking to rent a room but am initially going to stay in a pub/b&b until I can find somewhere.
My budget is as little as possible.

The Rising Sun pub in Burghfield Common advertises rooms for 20.
*all female friends refuse to go there and it's not pretty.....

I have stayed at the Hinds Head in Aldermaston. It was a couple of years ago but very nice.
