After spending all saturday working on our van, I got inside, got in the shower and the pump has broken. It had been sounding rather grindy for the last week, and now just makes an electric buzz, so I guess that its likely a bearing has collapsed or something but either way its siezed.

What are the options now? Are they rebuildable? Just buy a new one? 😕

Our shower was making a grinding, straining noise. Water would stop coming out then make groaning noise then water would come out. We got a quote for £300 to change the pipes and pump. Day before plumber was coming to replace and repair i took the shower head of an was "showered" with hot water. Put the head back on and no water and groaning started again. £10 for a new one and has been working perfectly since. Limescale build up
