Hi I have a pdf which a recruitment agent has asked me to split but I don't have acrobat. Can anyone help? My email is Ands43 @ hotmail .com
Lots of free PDF software out there, you don't need acrobat. I use cutePDF
I doubt I can break it with the pdf converters and am hoping to be quick.
What do you mean by split in half? Do you have say a 20 page doc and want to make 2x10 (or whatever) page docs out of it?
yeah essentially, but images although I might be able to do it from scratch with the freeware.
You shouldn't need to do it from scratch. Just open it with acrobat reader then print it as a PDF using cutePDF, just select the page range you want.

Wot nickjb said with CutePDF. You're printing a range of pages from a PDF (or any other doc) to a PDF. I use it all the time to send doc fragments to punters who are too lazy to use Acrobat search tools to find what they need in a 400 page doc. I STILL insist they Read-Part-Of-The-F^$ing-Manual.
Hi,
If you want to send it to the email in my profile, I'll do it now - just let me know where you wan the break.
Rachel
sorted my problem, bit of a faff though.
PDF Split and Merge is a pretty good I find. It's free too.
