Looking for a afternoon trip for my little one, she is only six, somewhere in Birmingham, or just off the M6/M5 in Brum (we are visiting the Birmingham Womens Hospital in the morning) so would like to treat her while in Birmingham.

Thinking of taking her to Cadbury World, but not sure if its for 6 year olds, has anyone been recently?

The other option is to take her to the Sea Life centre in Birmingham, she has her own fish tank in her room, so this might be a better option?

Any comments from Mum's or Dad's please, other options worth considering?

Thanks, nice comments please 😉

cadbury worlds o.k,sea life centres well worth a visit but a bit expensive, thoughi have a hot tip,get your tickets from tourist info at central library, next to town hall and museum, they give you preferential tickets so less queing and their at least a couple of quid cheaper than you'll pay at the centre itself,i reckon the locations better as well,a bit more to do by the canal side(including a crafty pint if the mood takes you),
hope you enjoy yourselves.

Its about perfect for 6 year olds to be honest. I took my two girls last year (4 and 6 years old) and they loved it. As soon as you walk through the turnstiles you get handed a bag of differnet cadburys goodies that can be scoffed on the way round the tour, whats not to like 🙂

Cadbury's world was great for the kids 3 years ago when we went. I wouldn't say I'd go back though... The smell of chocolate put me off for sometime afterwards...

Thanks for the pointer z1ppy

So Cadbury's could be a good choice for a 6 year old, well I guess she will enjoy the shop at the end, that's for sure.

Thanks everyone
