as the value is £152, over the 135 cut off value, I know there is the lottery of customs, vat and the ludicrous courier handling fee.
I haven’t bought from Amazon Europe for a long while now, but noticed there’s a new import fees deposit value in the fees summary page. Does this mean that Amazon handle the vat, customs, blah etc and this deposit is my exposure to this amazing post brexit benefit of additional eu to uk import fees? Or not.
or will I still be in the hands of some random courier adding another £80-90 of charges ?
Yep, amazon handle the fees etc, I am in Germany and fairly often buy from amazon USA and occasionally from amazon UK.
