Looking to buy a second hand Omega Seamaster, can anyone recommend some websites apart from Watchfinder
Blowers Jewellers.
Not a personal recommendation as I don't wear an expensive watch. However, lots of my workmates do and buy from here.
D.
I've got one for sale; Seamaster Coax. VGC, boxed with papers. Had it from new, never raced or rallied. PM me if interested.

Tzuk, but you can't use the classifieds for a while. As in the one above, box and papers are vital.
The bezel on that watch ^ is driving my OCD crazy
Goldsmiths have them preowned from time to time. In fact bought the mrs a beauty which looked like it had never been worn. Bezel marks easily and it's genuinely worth checking if it's been serviced as most jewellers won't touch the coax momevment, so it will have to go back to omega which is £££'s and months away rather than weeks.
Rocketdog - I think that is Parallax. I don't think the ratchets on the bezel is that fine. I bet it would line up perfectly if you were properly square onto the face.
I had two. Boy they don't take abuse well.firmly a dress watch IMO.

Really? I've worn mine pretty much every day for 14 years. Not a mark on the face and only the odd scuff on the bracelet.

go to an Omega store and the service will be back to weeks.
I stupidly bought my speedy form goldsmiths and when it went through them for a service, as there were case imperfections from new, it took months but Omega had only had it for a couple of days - as shown by the paperwork when it came back with massive polishing stiation marks on whch Omega claimed the owner (me) must have done, so it must have been someone in goldsmiths itself having a practise at polishing and screwing it up, then forwarding it on to Omega.
(I eventually got a new one after complaining and an Omega marketing guy stepped in - Goldsmiths were useless).
One of the major risks to a watch imho is putting it on and then pushing you shirt tails down into your jeans whilst getting dressed - and then scratching the watch with the rivets on the jeans!
My speedy service was about £500 but the watch comes back as new (unless you have some massively deep scratch on it), so the seamaster will be cheaper as it is not a chronograph nor a moonphase like mine.
Hora's must have been fakes...
You can't go wrong buying from Ian Blowers .
No if you are active, maybe a tad clumsy they take a few knocks.
Saying that watches are functional things not museum pieces. A sort of 'patina'.
There is a bunch of places, watchfinder, blowers, iconic, chrononext, watches.co.uk, chronomaster.
have a look on chrono24 its a sale platform that loads of companies and individuals sell through. Just do some due diligence before purchasing as its not set up with massive buyer protection like ebay, so use a CC or PP
As said there is also tz-uk forum where there is a active sale section, its a 50 post and 60 day membership bar to prevent folk just joining and buying.
Also ebay / gum tree but there are lots of good fakes (and gazillions of rubbish ones) about and box and papers don't reduce the chances of being fake.

I don't wear expensive watches for sports, have either £20 Timex Ironman or max £100 Suunto for when I'm doing stuff.
"pushing you shirt tails down into your jeans"
Oh dear.
Omega mmmm!
Lovely!
Don't trust myself to own one; as clumsy as a angry bull in a priceless china shop.
Boblo how much are you wanting for the seamaster? I might be interested
Oh dear.
are your shirts always out then ?
Don't you know there's a way to tuck your shirt in? Tsk. 😀
Shirt on, then trousers, partially do up trousers, gather excess material neatly on shirt (if there is any), then do trouser buttons.
Then reach up to grab something and undo the whole lot.
I'd second TZUK. Some good deals from knowledgeable people who really look after their watches.
As others have, I'd try Blowers & steer clear of fleabay copies.
I treated me & got a new Casino Royale version when they came out & though I don't wear it much it's a lovely time piece, my lad has his eyes on it for his 21st & not a chance !!
Did drop it once on a tiled floor, stopped working instantly though un marked so it was of to Omega for a few months & a rather hefty insurance bill.
Any scratches have always polished out, don't be afraid to wear it that's exactly what they are for, I've a bruiser rollo bought new & it looks knackered but Mappin & Webb give it a gentle polish now & then to tidy it up.
Why buy new when you could buy from here :

That's the least of your worries. A green wrist and a watchful of water at the first sign of rain are more of a concern...
£99? Real? Yeah right.
Oakleighwatches.co.uk have some nice pieces, bought a rolex last year and couldnt fault the service
