We're moving house shortly and need to get a fridge freezer. Nothing too fancy so have been looking at second hand.

I've used Gumtree in the past with great success, but having moved to Bristol none of the ads I've been trying to contact are replying.

Does anyone know of any used or reconditioned electrical wholesalers in the Bristol area? I've had a Google but either my search skills are lacking, or they don't exist!

Remembered seeing this guy when looking a while back: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/lesstokesappliances?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

tbh you may as well look for something new on sale.

Same place? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/clappliances?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

You could always try the Sofa Project. They have a showroom near St Pauls I think. They refurb returned damaged stock so most of what the white goods they sell work OK but look a little battered.

Cheers all. Not been here too long so haven't located all the handy independents yet 🙂

Theres a shop on church rd in St George. Never been in but they have a few outside.

That said I'd try and go for new. They are much more efficient so you will save in the long run. A bad fridge or freezer can be half your leccy bill.

Nailsea electrical on Gloucester rd (not in nailsea) usually have a deal on a few.

Or sign up for freecycle they often pop up on there. We gave one away a few months ago.

Try SOFA Project in West Street, Old Market or the Broadwalk Centre Knowle - http://www.sofaproject.org.uk/

They get a lot of slight seconds from manufacturers.

I have done quite a lot of consultancy work for them in the past, and some of the stuff they get in is amazing, particularly kitchen ranges.

Offer to buy the one where you are moving to? Fridge freezers are rather unappealing to move, we bought our sellers with the house and sold ours to our purchasers 🙂
