Are you struggling with drawing the logo or writing the code?
(and are you really sure you want to do that? It's a bit 20th Century)

Sorry whats the done thing now then ??
damn thought i was down with da kids 😕
The whole link exchange and "buttons" idea was popular around Geocites and such like. These days an external link would be, well, just that, something in-fitting with the linking site.
What's the context, are you talking about two hobbyist sites?
Shes looking for a button type thing ie Facebook,Twitter etc
its a fashion forum site and wants to link from her friends vintage clothing site a also to place on some blogs,thought a logo button would look a bit neater than just a link ,i have the logo its just how to link it
would it be as j_me's link to w3 schools?
Right. Is that not down to her friend to decide, then?
If the friend has actually asked for a button, you just need to provide a small graphic - it's up to them to work out how to code it, it's their site.
(unless you're asking for advice on their behalf, of course, in which case j-me's link above has the code they'll need)
would it be as j_me's link to w3 schools?
yes, that would work. except i'm guessing you dont know which bits to change?
< a href="your web address here">
<img border="0" src="root of image file here" alt="alternate text" width="32" height="32" />
EDIT: obviously change the dimensions to suit.
Thanks all that looks doable
