Can anyone recommend a bunk barn with secure outdoor space for kids’ camping and activities within a 90 minute drive of Manchester?

It also needs a communal lounge and kitchen should the British weather decide that we need watering.

It needs to be quite big too as there could be a lot (30+) of us.

Lakes, Yorkshire, Peaks… not bothered.

We've used this a few times, basic but fine, you can hire the whole place. Camping is good, and the kids can run around and have (supervised) campfires in the grounds. Has kitchen, also close to Ilkley for chips.

Have stayed here in the past - http://www.malhambunkbarn.co.uk/ - not sure about camping though but might be worth asking.

We've camped at this site loads. It's in Boot in the Eskdale valley at the bottom of hardknott pass. Used to be a camping and caravan club site but now a private site.

Lovely location, great site and 3 fantastic pubs within walking distance.

Have you looked at Pindale Farm, near Hope.

This is a good site too:

It's a scout camp, but they may also take other organised groups.
