So for the past three bills, BT have added a '£10 broadband usage' charge on my broadband. This month, having not been online much I phoned up and asked 'so how much did I go over my 10gb limit by?' Answer - you did not, that charge is a mistake. 'What about the last three months?' Oh, I see they are a mistake too'.
Now I feel this is basically fraudulent...anyone else had similar?
(BTW, not on a deregulated exchange or I would vote with my business)
I was charged for phone calls i did not make ( I was in another country when they were made and had no home phone ). When i asked BT about it they said it would be investigated, they could'nt explain how it it had happened and refunded the money.
Errors do occur, but its how suppliers deal with them that either keeps or loses customers.
Make sure BT refund you and keep at them until they do. Then move supplier!

Don't make sense... Contradiction alert...
Recently had a problem with network telecom charging for over usage on our 'unlimited' business broadband, having had confirmation it was a mistake, while awaiting the corrected bill we received a 'you haven't paid your bill if you don't we will cut you off in 24 hours' needless to say they are no longer our providers.......
