MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Our phone's not working (there's terribly static and crackling on the line). BT's online fault reporting service won't let you register a fault without it running a line check. Unfortunately the line test page fails and - it gives us a phone number to ring, brilliant!
150 for residential line faults, IIRC. There's a 'long' version for calling from non-BT lines too, 0800 800 150 I think.
151 res faults 0800800151 non bt or mob
This place is really rather special. It may even replace google on day (in a nice way) 🙂
Yes we can ring on a mobile of course but it just seems daft that if BT's online line check fails, you have to ring up to report a fault with your phone. What's wrong iwith an email or even trusting customers to recognise when something's wrong without needing a line test?
