A rather belated thank you to everyone who replied during the summer to my posts about a broken collar bone.
I seem to have been lucky and made a decent enough recovery. Can't put it down to much more than luck. Did what the docs said - rest and keep in sling, once out of sling if it hurts don't do it!
Tried turbo in house for a month which was noisy but kept me sane.
Now it's winter here in Torridon so not a lot of action on the bike.

Did mines September 2010 and was a long long time before healing .
broke in 3 places but bang head caused more problems . other shoulder causes me more pain due to wife nearly dislocating my right shoulder after asking her to pull me off the couch as i could not mover due to sling and she just jerked it so hard i was in agony afterwards ..you got to larff .
I have lost a lot of confidence in my biking and its taking a long time to get it back .Good Luck
