I'm looking for some corner slips to finish off our fireplace, but I can only find either gigantic stone ones more suited for external house walls, or brick ones which wouldn't really suit the living room. Anyone know where I could get some small-ish sandstone-effect corner slips, ideally no thicker than 20mm.

Nice try, but they're for flat walls. I'm after the corner bit. If it was outside it would be a quoin slip, not sure if the terminology is the same for interior stuff.

Stone masons or suppliers in your local area would be able to cut you size and shape to suit your req's
