Again Robben!! Unbeleiveable! Is there any way FIFA can issue retrospective punishments for blatant cheating?

It's is a shame when someone of his quality resorts to constant whinging and cheating. There really is no need.

Still a red though IMO

I thought, since the Mexico game, he has reigned it in a bit .

I did too. But the whining to get the (deserved) red was still unnecessary.

Needs an "enforcer" to given him a little "quietener"!!!

In other news, Clarke Carlisle is yet another statement on ITV's hatred of football.

ITV's hatred of football.

They show more games than the bBC do. Or are you referring to Andy Townsend?

Holland seem to have mastered the art of turning attack into defence.

Also, that's the worst refereeing decision of the tournament.

That's really bad. Books Oscar for 'simulation', then it' clear there must have atually been contact, as Blind is on the floor in pain! Embarrassing.

Looked to me like he straightened his legs and started going down before the contact. Didn't see a good angle so could be wrong. There was inevitably going to be contact so could have got a pen but the way he went down was simulation.

There is a possibility but then they are a one man team with Messi so if the Germans can prevent him from getting the ball then 50% of their work is done, because the rest of the Argentinians are just good players but nothing spectacular. 😀

Oh and farewell Alan Hansen. I know plenty of people don't like him, but I've always thought he's been one of the Beeb's best pundits.

I do hope everyone is following Mr Hansen's example and is presently sporting a tie? You're not, are you? You're sat in your pants and a wife beater, with a can of wife beater, scratching your arse and farting, aren't you?

As a united fan, I've felt obliged to follow Rio's example with a double breasted suit . Creme De Menthe anyone?

A cheeky wee Lynx advert at half time would not be a bad thing.

Beeb. Might go with the 5Live commentary.

Oh and farewell Alan Hansen. I know plenty of people don't like him, but I've always thought he's been one of the Beeb's best pundits.

I'm not a massive fan, and he does seem to have become a pastiche of himself in the last year or so.

...but given what is taking over, Shearer/Neville/Savage, then it may be a case of not knowing what you have got till it's gone.

I thought they are all rather funny. 😆

I want them to make stoopid comments otherwise it will be very boring.

Hansen is a pastiche of himself but he did know his stuff

TBH its hard to be insightful about football.....as this, and other football threads, shows over and over again 😉
