There's going to be a Parade through Brackley (where I live) on Monday of the Brawn GP team, and a "Civic Ceremony" (a chance for our spectacularly ugly Mayor to get her fat face in the Paper...again). But, here's the rub, No Drivers...Neither Button or Barrichello are going to there. Is that Shit or what? Brackley's full of Brawn and Ex Honda employees, all the school kids are going, and neither of these Playboys could be arsed...Thanks fellas, appreciate it.

My folks live in Brackley and the support shown from the town during this season has been great, real shame if they dont show up... Shame on them.......

TBH- Brawn are trying to get Button (who I am no fan of but I cant understand why they are holding out to screw him) on the cheap. RB has signed for another team- so why would he? Hes effectively employed by a new team now so would be focusing on them.

Not much happens in Brackley so this is big news.
I am from there but thankfully moved away years ago, folks are there so visit every now and again.
Where is the nearest decent riding near Brackley?
Saw Ron Dennis + trophy wife doing the spiel thing with the local mayor in Woking a few yrs back when Hakkinen won the world championship. they had the F1 cars doing a circuit of the town centre also. Can't remember if the actual F1 drivers turned up however...
Give the "Top Gear" office a call...I'm sure The Stig would be happy to turn up instead 🙂
