The fence between my house and my neighbour blew down over Easter. Spoke to the landlord and offered to go 50/50 on the cost, to which he agreed. He also agreed to get it sorted as the fence is actually on his property (the actual boundary is a low flagstone wall & the fence was on his side).
Nothing has been done even though ive enquired several times, would I be within my rights just to get the damn thing replaced?
Currently having my garden paved over and I'd like to be able to use my garden soon.

Put up a fence on your side. Don't expect to be able to dictate when the neighbour fixes his fence.

Are you a nudist/swinger?

But seriously, is the landlord yours or the neighbors? If yours then a quick phone call for the go ahead should be enough.

Landlord is next door, ive had several promises about getting it done, having someone come round to look at it etc but nothing has happened.
The old fence is down in their garden, thinking of replacing the fence at my own cost & leaving the detritus for the landlord to shift!

Gardeners and fencers are busy. It's spring.

Wait, so your landlord lives next door?

Do it yourself, knock up invoice on the PC for twice the material cost, spend savings on BBQ / bike bits?

Forget about his fence - if you want control, put one up on your side of the boundary.

No, I own my house. Next door is rented to a lovely quiet couple and its their landlord I'm trying to deal with.
I'm spending 1K+ on the garden & I'd rather not be waiting for much longer for the fence to be sorted. Next doors 'garden' is a weed-strewn yard and its not secure, I want the six foot fence replacing for piece of mind as well as wanting the privacy again

Start up with the axe skills practice in the back garden.

(no euphemisms intended)

I used to practice with pole arms in the garden - got some funny looks at first!
