is it JUST me, or does it appear that boris does NOT stumble into the river at ALL.

bloody twisty headlines.

boris is already up to his knees in the river, and goes a bit to deep and gets wet.
so what?
it really gets my goat when they twist things about like that (i realise its a very minor example)

they really do like the "bumbling fool" image.

dont see any of those journalists getting wet for a volunteer drive.

i think he handles it admirably too at the end.

Go Boris, more nuts MPs i say!
no expensese scandals then! they would all be too busy being mad, doing whatever it is mad people do.

Well, he's in the river, then he falls over. Which is funny, but hardly current affairs!

And Boris maxed out on allowances on his Henley house each year he was in parliament I think.

i read that also BD, on the "related links" link after posting.
dissapointing.

the second homes thing is toss, they should do away with it altogether,
how many MPS are there?
i reckon they could fit them in a pokey corner of the barbican or something.
they dont need "homes", they need bedsits, at the very most.

I was a bit dissapointed that no one rushed over to hold his head under.

Looked to me like Mr Johnson was walking along a river, he then stumbles, causing him to fall.

But hey what do I know, I'm a leftie and probably in collusion with the BBC anyway.

"dont see any of those journalists getting wet for a volunteer drive."

Is that because their editors didn't tell them that it was part of their job ?

Of course Boris only did it because he was bored and had a bit of spare time. Funny how the press coincidently happened to be there.
