They speak somewhat more freely about his time at university and as a journalist about Johnson's personality which is a completely different picture other's try to portray in some of the later episodes include Ress-Mogg and David Frost trying to shore up both their time and the reputation of Johnson's obviously failing Govt. Frost tries to spin the line that Johnson was deeply involved in the detail of the negotiations with the EU, Rees-Mogg tries to paint him as too ready to listen to his advisors - and blaming them rather than Johnson for the many episodes that marked the end of his PM-ship such as Partygate, Pincher, and Patterson

Which isnt an unfair position.
